Job Context
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Merchandiser/ Sr. Merchandiser - Merchandising to oversee product development and order execution for our sweater division. The ideal candidate will manage the full merchandising cycle - from design development and costing to production follow-up and shipment - ensuring efficiency, quality, and buyer satisfaction.
Job Description/Responsibility
- Manage the product development process, including sampling, costing, and design coordination with buyers and internal teams.
- Oversee the execution of sweater orders, ensuring on-time production, quality, and shipment.
- Coordinate closely with buyers, suppliers, and production teams to align product requirements and delivery schedules.
- Handle costing, pricing, and order negotiation with buyers and buying houses.
- Source and follow up on yarns, trims, and accessories with local and international suppliers.
- Supervise and guide a team of merchandisers to ensure smooth workflow and timely approvals.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and take corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate order tracking, reports, and communication with management and buyers.
Additional Academic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Experience Requirements
3 - 5 years of experience is required.
