Job Description/Responsibility
- Source raw materials accessories on time as per buyer requirements.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain planning and operations to drive internal efficiency and cost minimization.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies (local & international).
- Manage sourcing and selection of local and global suppliers.
- Negotiate international contracts, pricing, and Incoterms.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers for order status, quality, and shipment issues.
- Create and execute cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage sourcing risks and ensure smooth material availability.
- Oversee and Local order processing, pricing, and customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Work closely with production planning to align operations with supply chain goals.
- Ensure production meets demand while keeping inventory at optimal levels.
- Solve production-related issues that may affect supply chain flow.
- Develop strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
- Perform regular inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
- Use inventory systems to track and manage stock movements.
- Coordinate with production and forecast the plan inventory needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement plans as needed.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Additional Academic Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience is required.
Skills Requirements
- Garments Accessories/ Garments Sector.
- Reputed Garments or Leading Organizations in Bangladesh.
- Strong negotiation and Management skills.
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control.
- Understanding of supply chain and sourcing systems.
- Excellent Communication skills both in English & Bangla.
