Job Description/Responsibility
Job Purpose:
- Successful implementation of road safety and defensive driving training programs.
- Making BRAC Driving School self-sustainable.
- Marketing initiatives to increase participant enrollment at BRAC Driving School.
- Providing employment opportunities to female drivers trained by BRAC Driving School after they obtain their licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct road safety and defensive driving training for in-service driver and theoretical training in basic driving training for novice driver.
- Assess trainee/drivers using P-drive system and grade them accordingly.
- Conduct training need assessment (TNA).
- Evaluate and grade the training and trainees as well.
- Develop and up-date training module and materials (handouts, PPT etc).
- Keep records of training related documents and prepare necessary reports.
- Make effective communication and maintain liaison with BRAC programs, related Govt. departments and vehicle owners and workers associations.
- Increase enrollment of trainees in BRAC driving school through marketing.
- Provide support for the expansion of BRAC driving schools.
- Provide employment opportunity for female drivers of the Four Wheels to Freedom project.
- Promoting various BDS products both online and offline, with a special focus on acquiring new clients for Surakkha training and increasing enrollments in basic driving training across all BDS branches.
- Conduct other trainings on Road Safety as per programme requirement from time to time.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
Skills Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Good presentation and communication skill.
- Clear Concept on road safety and defensive driving training.
- Having clear concept on automobile engine and other controlling systems of vehicle and also on trouble shooting.
- Having clear concept on training material and IEC/BCC material preparation.
- Sufficient knowledge in computer operation.
- Decision making capacity and problem solving ability.
- Physically fit (Specially Eye-sight & listening power will have to be perfect).
