Security Operations:
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of all security personnel, including guards, patrol officers, and gatekeepers.
- Develop and implement effective security protocols, policies, and procedures for the factory.
- Conduct regular security checks of the factory premises, including monitoring CCTV footage, patrolling, and ensuring the integrity of access points.
- Ensure proper management of visitor access, employee entry/exit, and vehicle movement within the factory grounds.
- Monitor the movement of goods, materials, and finished products in and out of the factory to prevent theft, loss, or damage.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Access Control & Surveillance:
- Manage and monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment.
- Ensure strict access control measures at all entry and exit points, verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises.
- Conduct periodic audits of security logs, access records, and surveillance footage to detect and address any security breaches.
Incident Reporting & Investigation:
- Lead investigations into any security-related incidents, thefts, or breaches, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, including incidents, patrols, and inspections.
- Communicate with management and provide regular updates on security concerns, threats, or incidents.
Safety & Risk Management:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to factory security measures.
- Ensure fire safety protocols are followed, including the inspection of fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits.
- Coordinate and conduct safety drills (fire drills, evacuation plans) in collaboration with the health and safety team.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to protect employees, visitors, and contractors from security threats or hazards.
Team Management & Training:
- Lead, train, and motivate the security team to ensure they perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on security protocols, emergency procedures, and conflict management.
- Ensure that security staff maintain a high level of professionalism and discipline at all times.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies related to security and safety.
- Liaise with external security agencies, local law enforcement, and other relevant authorities to coordinate security efforts when necessary.
Equipment Management:
- Maintain security equipment and ensure that all security systems, such as alarms, cameras, and barriers, are in good working order.
- Manage the allocation of security resources, such as uniforms, radios, and other security tools, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
