Responsible for managing a team of 3 research finance staff including hiring, training, and guiding professional development.

Responsible for ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Develops a system to track non-federal financial reporting and works with research finance staff and OSR grants administrators to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

Works in conjunction with the Controller's office on federal financial reporting and ensures timeliness from OSR.

Works in close coordination with OSR color team Grants Administrators to ensure that accounts are reconciled in advance of invoice and reporting due dates. Works closely with the Controller’s office, responsible for the grant billing and federal financial reporting, to ensure that OSR has done their due diligence to support timely invoicing and reporting to sponsors, partner institutions and other external collaborators.

Manages the internal award closeout process in conjunction with the Controller’s office, and develops a system to establish a cost object closeout process. Ensures internal closeouts happen timely.

Responsible for fund monitoring including identifying deficits, over-commitments, and delayed spending for all sponsored research awards.

In coordination with the Director, responsible for updating SOPS and conducting training on post-award task management.

Work across all finance team groups to ensure communication and smooth transition of any newly implemented process enhancements.

Assists in the preparation of the fiscal year-end with the Controller's Office and also assists with the Uniform Guidance audit with the Director of Research Administration.
