Job Context
The Accounting Systems Coordinator will play an instrumental role in the setup and maintenance of our company and cost center structure, hierarchies, and intercompany relationships in Workday. This position requires general business systems knowledge, extremely strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Job Description/Responsibility
- Create and maintain new
- Companies
- Cost Centers
- Ledger Accounts and Sub Accounts (Revenue and Spend Categories)
- Custom Organizations or Worktags
- Assign all new items to proper Hierarchies.
- Assign and maintain proper intercompany relationships.
- Maintain a master list of companies with proper system setups and assignments.
- Maintain a master file for location vs cost center mapping to be used by HR.
- Perform semi-monthly audits of worker location/cost center/company information.
- Maintain a current list of partners and firefighters.
- Work with HR, IT, Finance and Accounting personnel to compile and distribute accurate information and ensure proper recording of transactions.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual work environment with limited distractions.
- Offer suggestions on modifications to policies and procedures.
- Work with management to develop controls throughout the accounting department; provide input relating to processes, procedures, projects, and self-improvement.
- Increase productivity by developing automated applications.
- Assist with year-end audit work papers and testing.
- Perform other assignments and duties as needed.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor/ Honors(Bachelor Degree in any Discipline) completed.
Additional Academic Requirements
- Associates degree in an Accounting/Business/HR related field preferred.

Skills Requirements
- Knowledge of and skill in using personal computers in a windows environment with an emphasis on spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work in an efficient amount of time and in an organized manner.
- Ability to pay very close attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively perform in a multi-task work environment.
- Ability to identify, research and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal correspondence with co-workers, clinicians, and management in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to work overtime and put forth extra effort when needed.
- Strong computer knowledge and skills including Advanced MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Workday Financial & HCM a plus.
