Job Description/Responsibility
- Creatively edit opens, teases, and other elements in all newscasts
- Interface with key editorial producers and manager proactively under deadline pressure
- Bring a level of higher end editing using graphics packages from various editing platforms
Education Requirements
- Diploma(Diploma in Engineering) completed.
Experience Requirements
No experience is required.
Skills Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have the talent and experience to consistently generate a topnotch creative news product.
- Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters with a minimum of 5 years broadcast television non-linear editing/production experience on a major platform include Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, Grass Valley Edius, and/or Adobe Premiere.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop are a must.
- The right candidate must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidates should be a strategic planner with great editorial judgement.
- Be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings
