Job Context
Job Description/Responsibility
- To supervise the overall administration of the department.
- To monitor all work performed in the laboratory to ensure the reliability of data generated.
- To select and evaluate the test method.
- To design and implement the QC program.
- To interpret the test results and advise patients for further investigation in consultation with the concerned physician when required.
- To design and implement continued laboratory improvement programs by imparting training, refreshers, and up-gradation of instruments or equipment and application of the latest technology.
- To supervise clinical laboratory services provided by the department.
- To ensure uninterrupted laboratory services in consultation with the management and other relevant departments.
- To help in-charges in resolving the problem that they face at work.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor/ Honors(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)) completed.
Experience Requirements
No experience is required.
