Job Context
- e are looking for Medical Assistant/Staff Nurse to join immediately who will work under our Consultant-Dermatology supervision.
Job Description/Responsibility
- Ready to join immediately;
- Interview patients and document basic medical history;
- Prepare treatment rooms and medical instruments;
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients;
- Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures;
- Familiarity with surgical, cosmetic and medical treatments and procedures, to be proactive in answering patient inquiries with accurate answers regarding controlling outcome expectations, post-procedure downtime, general pricing, and post-operative care issues;
- Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines;
- Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider s next steps to the best of their ability;
- Prepare rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each day to ensure all is in proper SOP;
- Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed;
- Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients;
- Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services;
- Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history;
- Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments;
- Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures;
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies;
- erform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested;
Education Requirements
- Diploma(Diploma in Engineering) completed.
Additional Academic Requirements
- Diploma in Medical, Diploma in Nursing
Experience Requirements
1 - 3 years of experience is required.
